The first annual “Stuff the Vans” day was very successful according to Garry McKinney director of the Morgantown Mission.  “We collected enough school supplies to fill at least one van,” said McKinney.
The vans were located at the Morgantown Mission, Family Dollar, and Dollar General Market.  The Family Resource Center and the Youth Service Center provided volunteers at all the locations to man the vans.  The school supplies will be given out at the Back To School Bash on August 5th at the Morgantown City Park. 
There is still time to donate supplies.  Just drop your donation off at the Morgantown Mission.
Supply list includes: pencils, loose leaf paper, composition books, primary composition books, 3 pronged folders with pockets, 2 pocket folders without prongs, glue, glue sticks, crayons-24 count, 3 ring binders 1 inch and 1.5 inch, coloring pencils, erasers pencil tops, construction paper, pencil sharpeners, highlighters, pencil boxes, pencil pouches, ink pens, index cards, tab dividers, and nap mat .
