Stolen trailer, guns recovered after domestic dispute over truck

A domestic dispute over a truck has resulted in the discovery of a stolen 10' trailer and two Henry rifles at a Butler County residence. Butler County Sheriff's Deputy Chris Reneer located the stolen trailer last night at 10366 Bowling Green Road while investigating a stolen truck.

The truck was initially reported stolen by it's owner after his estranged wife used her keys to remove the truck from his property while he was at work. She told Deputy Reneer that she had taken the truck to the residence on Bowling Green Road to hide it from her estranged husband. When Deputy Reneer took the man to recover his truck, two guns not belonging to him were found in the cab of the truck and the 10' trailer was also at the residence. The trailer had been reported stolen by Nevil "Sug" McKinney.

It is unclear at this time whether the guns are stolen property. An investigation into the theft of the trailer is ongoing.
