The Butler County Fiscal Court met in special session on Thursday, December 27, 2012.  Johnny Tuck, David Whittinghill, Chad Tyree, Keith Daugherty , Stevie Givens, and Judge David Fields were in attendance. 
The court approved the following motions with a 5-0 vote:
•    Motion was made by Whittinghill and seconded by Tuck authorizing Judge Fields to sign an emergency management executive order effective January 1, 2013.
•    Motion was made by Tuck and seconded by Tyree to advertise for bid the county garbage pickup with the requirements for dumpsters and compliance with county’s solid waste regulations.  The bid will be awarded with an expiration date of December 2014.
•    Motion was made by Tyree and seconded by Whittinghill to pay bill for Jail to the Morgantown Prescription Center in the amount of $989.95.
•    Motion was made by Tyree and seconded Givens to pay Bill Hoods Family Store per statement dated December 18, 2012 in the amount of $881.12.
•    Motion was made by Givens and seconded by Tuck approving payment of bills and transfers.

During the work session the court held discussions regarding job descriptions, pay scales for the road department,  and ordinances regarding a land fill and mobile homes.  No action was taken by the court.
