The Charles Black City Park was busy with activitiy this past weekend as a pair of softball tournaments took place.  The "Whisker Series," 10U and 12U fastpitch softball tournaments, were presented on Saturday, June 28, by the city of Morgantown in conjunction with the Green River Catfish Festival.  

City officials were pleased with the event.

"The weather turned out perfect, and we loved spending a full day enjoying some great softball. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did, and we’re already looking forward to making it even bigger and better next year," said city officials per a Facebook post.  

After a full day of softball, the following teams took home the rings:  

12U Champions: KY Pulse

12U Finalists: CKS

10U Champions: Mudhens

10U Finalists: KY Missfits
