The decisive moment came in the bottom of the third inning, when Senior Kinleigh Russell delivered a clutch two-run single to left center with the bases loaded, breaking the scoreless tie and shifting full control to the Spartans.
South Warren, serving as the home team, extended the lead with three runs in the fourth inning and added another three-run surge in the sixth, putting the game out of reach.
Defensively, the championship identity was anchored by an elite infield of Parker Willoughby, McLaine Hudson, Keegan Pruitt, Layla Ogden, and Kinley Russell, which helped define an error-free, high-execution tournament run. South Warren recorded four error-free games in the state tournament, reflecting consistent defensive precision under pressure.
