SOFTBALL: Clark commits to Midway University

MORGANTOWN — Butler County senior catcher/infielder Madison Clark has committed to Midway University.Clark will compete at the next level in her home state. Among the top high school softball players in the Third Region, Clark is set to compete in her senior campaign.

Clark excelled for Butler County throughout her junior campaign in 2023, batting .422 with 38 hits, 38 RBIs, 19 runs, nine home runs and seven doubles. The productive Clark led Butler County in home runs and RBIs. Clark ranked second in hits and doubles (tie) for the Bears.

In addition to Butler County, Clark competes for her travel team, Nashville Cruisers Premier.

Currently, Clark is preparing for her senior campaign. Clark and her Butler County teammates are scheduled to visit Owensboro Catholic for a 2024 season opener on Monday, March 11.
