Proctor's Walk-off Picture Perfect Ending In Butler County Bears Varsity's Victory Over Calloway County
Butler County defeated Calloway County 8-7 on Saturday thanks to a walk-off home run. The game was tied at seven with the Bears  batting in the bottom of the sixth when Autumn Proctor hit a solo homer.

Despite falling down by five runs in the fourth inning, Calloway County tried to fight back.
Butler County  took an early lead in the first inning. Dixie Garnier doubled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run the Bears tallied three runs in the third inning. Butler County  scored its runs on an RBI home run by Garnier.
Kylee Smith earned the win for Butler County. She went one-third of an inning, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out one and walking zero. Smith recorded the last out to earn the save.
Aliceson Hunt started the game for Butler County. She lasted five and two-thirds innings, allowing eight hits and seven runs while striking out five.
Butler County socked three home runs on the day. Garnier went for the long ball in the third inning. Hannah Chaney went yard in the first inning. Proctor had a four bagger in the sixth inning.
Butler County saw the ball well, racking up 11 hits in the game. Proctor, Garnier, and Chaney all collected multiple hits for the Bears. Proctor led Butler County with three hits in four at bats.

Late Score Costs Butler County Bears Varsity Against Meade County
Butler County  lost the lead late in a 4-2 defeat to Meade County on Saturday. Meade County trailed 2-1 in the top of the sixth inning when they doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

The Bears  got things started in the first inning when Hannah Chaney hit a solo homer.
Kylee Smith took the loss for Butler County. She went seven innings, allowing four runs on eight hits, striking out four and walking zero. Chaney had a homer in the first inning. Autumn Proctor, Dixie Garnier, and Chaney each managed one hit to lead Butler County.

 

 Butler County Bears Varsity couldn't keep up with Warren East and fell 6-0 on Friday.
One bright spot for Butler County Bears was a single by Haley Peach in the sixth inning.
Kylee Smith took the loss for Butler County. She lasted six innings, allowing nine hits and six runs while striking out two and walking one.  Warren East smacked two home runs on the day.
Peach led Butler  with one hit in two at bats.

Butler County Bears Varsity Clinches Lead In Ninth Inning To Defeat Ohio County

Butler County snatched the lead late in the game in a 12-5 victory over Ohio County on Thursday. The game was tied at five with The Bears batting in the top of the ninth when Haley Peach doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring three runs.

Butler County earned the victory despite allowing Ohio County to score four runs in the third inning. Ohio County scored its runs on a grand slam.

In the first inning, Butler County got their offense started. Butler County Bears Varsity scored one run when Dixie Garnier singled.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, Ohio County tied things up at five with a solo homer.

Kylee Smith took the win for Butler County. She went nine innings, allowing five runs on eight hits and striking out three.

Butler County had 12 hits in the game. Autumn Proctor, Garnier, and Peach each racked up multiple hits. Proctor led Butler County with three hits in six at bats.

BCHS 15 Trinity 4

Butler County weathered a push by Trinity in the third inning where Butler County Bears Varsity coughed up three runs, but Butler County Bears Varsity still won 15-4 on Tuesday. 

The Bears Varsity scored seven runs in the fifth inning. Amber Thacker, Autumn Proctor, Dixie Garnier, Aubrey Clark, and Ashley Thacker powered the big inning with RBIs.

Kylee Smith pitched Butler County to victory. She lasted five innings, allowing seven hits and four runs while striking out four and walking zero.

Butler County racked up 12 hits in the game. Thacker, Proctor, Clark, and Garniereach racked up multiple hits. Proctor and Thacker each collected three hits to lead The Bears.

 

BCHS 9 Trinity 8

Butler County Bears took the lead late in the game in a 9-8 victory over Trinity on Thursday. The game was tied at seven with The Bears Varsity batting in the bottom of the sixth when Hannah Chaney homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

The base paths were crowded in this high-scoring game. Butler County collected 13 hits and Trinity had ten.

The Bears got things moving in the first inning. Autumn Proctor hit a solo homer.

Butler County put up four runs in the fifth inning. Bayleigh Alford and Aubrey Clarkpowered the big inning with RBIs.

Kylee Smith got the win. She surrendered eight runs on ten hits over seven innings, striking out five and walking zero.

Butler County socked three home runs on the day. Dixie Garnier went yard in the fifth inning. Chaney went for the long ball in the sixth inning. Proctor had a homer in the first inning.

Butler County tallied 13 hits on the day. Chaney, Alford, and Garnier all had multiple hits. Alford and Chaney each collected three hits to lead Butler County Bears Varsity.

 

BCHS Walks Away Victorious Over Mercer County, 5-2

Butler County wins contest against Mercer County on Friday, 5-2.

The Bears got things started in the first inning when Hannah Chaney doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Kylee Smith was the winning pitcher. She surrendered two runs on five hits over five innings, striking out two and walking zero.

Butler County racked up eight hits. Autumn Proctor, Chaney, and Amber Thackereach racked up multiple hits. Thacker, Chaney, and Proctor each collected two hits to lead Butler County.

 

Butler County Bears Varsity Grabs Lead In Fourth Inning For Victory Over Ryle

Butler County defeated Ryle 5-3 on Saturday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at three with The Bears batting in the bottom of the fourth when Dixie Garnier singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

Kylee Smith was the winning pitcher. She went four innings, allowing three runs on nine hits, striking out four and walking zero.

Butler County had ten hits in the game. Amber Thacker, Autumn Proctor, and Aleace Hall all collected multiple hits. Proctor and Thacker all had three hits to lead Butler County.

Butler County Bears Varsity Can't Quite Erase 6-Run Deficit In Loss To Tates Creek

Butler County effort to come back from down six runs in the fourth inning came up just short, as they fell 7-5 to Tates Creek on Saturday. The Bears scored three runs in the failed comeback on a single by Autumn Proctor and a single by Hannah Chaney.

Butler County knotted the game up at two in the bottom of the second inning, when an error scored one run for Butler County Bears Varsity.

After Tates Creek scored three runs in the top of the fourth, The Bears answered with three of their own. Butler County's Proctor singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run and Chaney singled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

Tates Creek pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning.

Kylee Smith took the loss for Butler County. She surrendered eight runs on 12 hits over five innings, striking out two and walking zero.

Butler County racked up ten hits on the day. Chaney, Dixie Garnier, and Proctoreach collected multiple hits. Proctor, Garnier, and Chaney each collected two hits to lead Butler County. Butler County was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Amber Thacker made the most plays with six.

 

Butler County Bears Varsity Can't Hold Up Against Boyle County

Butler County had a tough time generating runs on Saturday, dropping their game with Boyle County 10-0.

One bright spot for The Bears was a single by Autumn Proctor in the fourth inning.

Kylee Smith took the loss for Butler County. She lasted two and two-thirds innings, allowing nine hits and nine runs while walking one.
