Smith, Bears place sixth at Mustang Stampede

GREENVILLE — Senior Parker Smith placed sixth in the Boys' 5,000 Meter Run to lead Butler County at the Muhlenberg County-hosted Mustang Stampede on Saturday, Sept. 16.

Smith completed the Boys' 5,000 Meter Run in 16:30.21.

Along with Smith's individual performance, Butler County placed sixth in the Mustang Stampede Boys' Team Standings.

Butler County did not have enough female runners to register a girls' team score.

The Bears' individual results from the Mustang Stampede follow.

Girls' 5,000 Meter Run: 66th - Geneva Cardwell, 25:36.86; 67th - Emma Givens, 25:44.00.

Boys' 5,000 Meter Run: 6th - Parker Smith, 16:30.21; 12th - Ryder Harbough, 16:52.42; 13th - Case Hooten, 16:52.47; 46th - Landon Henderson, 18:35.08; 117th - Colt Akers, 21:49.90; 118th - Carson Davis, 21:52.44; 122nd - Marvin Brown, 22:18.10; 125th - Rhett Anderson, 22:34.10; 138th - Colin Lawrence, 26:57.72.
