SKY Fame

Ray Hammer Principal Tech School, - Jason Sharp –Eddie Phelps – Teresa Montgomery

In order to remain globally competitive, Kentucky manufacturers need a supply of highly qualified, technically-minded individuals. The Kentucky Federation for Advanced Manufacturing (KY FAME) was established to assist with meeting this need. The Southcentral Kentucky Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (SKY FAME) is a partnership of regional manufacturers whose purpose is to implement a work-and-learn style training that will create a pipeline of highly skilled workers. The primary method to achieve this goal is through partnerships with local educational institutions to offer the Advanced Manufacturing Technician Program (AMT) at SKYCTC's Franklin-Simpson Center.

Jason Sharp, IMT instructor- Jason Henderson – Teresa Montgomery, HR Manager Delta Faucet

Delta Faucet in collaboration with the Butler County ATC, have chosen Jason Henderson and Edwin (Eddie) Phelps as the first participants in the KY Fame program in Butler County. Teresa Montgomery, Human Resource Manager, and Jason Sharp, Industrial Maintenance Instructor, have developed a positive working relationship that has benefits for everyone involved. Delta Faucet has been instrumental in working with the ATC and their students. They have hired many of our former students and current students through co-ops and internships. Jason and Eddie attended the Industrial Maintenance program at the Tech School. Under the direction of Mr. Sharp, these students had the skills and work ethic required for today’s technical workforce. They were a perfect fit for the program.
