On Thursday, December 17th Morgantown Elementary School will be hosting their first Sharpen the Saw day. This day will be filled with various activities including Gingerbread houses, Ornament Making, Movie & Popcorn, Baking/Cookie Decorating, Basketball Drills, Christmas Cards, Caroling, and Weather. This will be a fun filled event allowing students to put into practice one of The Leader in Me’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Habit 7, Sharpen the Saw.  Sharpen the Saw means preserving and enhancing the greatest asset we have--ourselves. Time is spent renewing oneself physically, social/emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Through the practice of Sharpening the Saw, students can continue to practice the other six habits effectively.  We look forward to Sharpening the Saw with our students before the Christmas Break.
