Senior Track & Field Athletes Honored

The Butler County Track & Field athletes were honored on Friday night at the baseball game.
Daltyn Havens is the son of Lloyd and Tabby Havens.  He has been on the track team for three years and football for 15 years.  He plans to graduate high school and begin work.  His favorite memory is winning state in football in 2012 and being in Mr. Shockley's class and Mr. Collins.


Jacoty Hope is the son of Linda Evans.  He has been on the track team for five years, Soccer 3 years, and choir since 6th grade. He plans to go to college and become an orthodontist. His favorite memory is running my last 400 giving everything I had for my team at region and finishing second place in the region. 

Drake Kinkade is the son of Denis and Teresa Kinkade.  He has run track for one year, marching band eight years, jazz band for three years, and SUPA for three years. He plans to attend college and get a degree in sales and marketing.


Starr Lawrence is the daughter of Brandi and Wayne Lawrence.  She has been on the track team for one year and cheered for seven years. She plans to attend WKU.  Her favorite memory is spending time with everyone, making new friends, and meets.

Kierra Neighbors is the daughter of Rachel Graham and Derek Proctor.  She has run track for four years, the choir for three years, and played soccer for three years. She plans to run track at Brescia University and pursue a nursing degree. Her favorite memory is going to state last year and breaking the 100 meter hurdle record being the first time I broke 17 seconds.

Hannah Logan is the daughter of Vicky and Gabe Logan.  She has run track for four years, band eight years and cross country for seven years. She plans to attend SKCT and pursue a degree as a physical therapist assistant. Her favorite memory is when Coach Fuller ripped his khakis.

Cortez Price is the son of Jen Simmons.  He has played soccer for three years, band six years, and ran track for one year. He plans to attend college and major in criminal justice.  His favorite memory is placing second place at the regionals.


Tyler Smith is the son of Kimberly Smith.  He was escorted by Sgt. Alred, Marine Recruiter. He has run track since 7th grade, been in the band since 5th grade, and played soccer since 11th grade.  He plans to join the Marine Corp.  His favorite memory is running the 4 X 400m relay and finishing 2nd in the region, 4th fastest time in school history.
