SENATOR C.B EMBRY ANNOUNCES STATUTORY COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP FOR 2019 GENERAL ASSEMBLY

FRANKFORT, KY. (May 01, 2019) – The Senate Majority Caucus has announced its statutory committee assignments for the 2019 General Assembly. Senator C.B. Embry (R-Morgantown) will serve as the co-chairman of the Tobacco Settlement Agreement Fund Oversight Committee.

“Looking ahead to the 2019 interim months, I am excited to continue serving in committees as both a member and a leader,” said Senator Embry. “Through collaborative public policy discussions, these committees afford legislators the opportunity to better the lives of Kentuckians.”

In addition to statutory committees, interim joint committees are authorized by the Kentucky Revised Statutes or function as subcommittees of the Legislative Research Commission (LRC). Their meetings are open to the public and the press.
