Morgantown Community will host a Projekt Hero speaker on Sunday, January 26, from 3 to 5 p.m.   The event is open for all middle and high school youth in Butler County to attend at no cost.  The church asks that each one bring one or more non-perishable food item to be donated to the Morgantown Mission.  The speaker will be Brooklyn Watson, a survivor of the school shooting at Heath High School in Paducah in 1997.  She speaks of the tragic event as well as the following years as she questioned God, even as her faith grew and became more real.  Watson has partnered with Projekt Hero to show others how to laugh through life’s trials as well as find the hero in each of us.
