Ryder Harbaugh qualifies for USATF Junior Olympics

Ryder Harbaugh, a Senior Track athlete at Butler County High School, has won the USATF Region 5 Championship in the 800M held on the campus of Charleston University in West Virginia and has Qualified for the 2024 USATF Junior Olympics being held on the campus Texas A & M at Bryan-College Station, TX July 22-28, 2024.

The 2024 USATF Junior Olympic Championships will have some of the best Track and Field athletes from across the nation competing against one another.

Harbaugh represented  the state of Kentucky at the USATF Regionals winning 1st place in the 17-18 year old division for the 800M. USATF Region 5 consists of Michigan, Lake Erie, Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky. Harbaugh will now represent Region 5 at USATF Junior Olympics. Harbaugh is a Track multiple school record holder in Relays and  All-State XC Runner at Butler County High School,  as well as a (2x) National High School Coaches Association 1st Team Academic All-American and (2x) KHSAA 1st Team Academic All-State selection . Harbaugh is competing as Unattached at the 2024 USATF Junior Olympics.
