Royal Ambassadors of First Baptist donate to BC Cancer Assistance

The Royal Ambassadors class of First Baptist Church has been busy working on projects that help them to become a well informed responsible follower of Christ. One of these projects was headed by Cory Mason and Hunter Mason. They wanted to give back to an organization that had given to them. Their father, Glen Mason, was diagnosed with cancer and Cancer Assistance, INC. was there to help. Cory and Hunter presented the idea of collecting aluminum cans and selling them to raise money for the group as a way to say thanks for the help they had been given. Their teachers Bill Tichenor, Scott Howard, and Justin Wallace thought it was a good idea and the mission continued. Once the other church members heard of the project, cans started pouring in and on 2/8/2012 the class invited a representative from Cancer Assistance to accept the $80.00 donation.
