ROAD UPDATE: KY Transportation Cabinet

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 Water Over the Road Report 5 p.m. Update (April 10)BOWLING GREEN -- More roads in the District 3 area have opened throughout the day today. One of the most notable is the interchange at Exit 26 on Interstate 165 in Butler County has completely reopened.  

 

 

The current list of state routes still flooded in the District 3 area as of 5 p.m. is below. 
Motorists are reminded not to attempt to drive through possible high water, regardless if warning signs are in place or not. Please do not drive around or move barricades, barrels or any other traffic control devices. District 3 crews are checking routes throughout the day.

Interstate 165          

 

--The interchange at Exit 26 on I-165 in Butler County has completely reopened. (REOPENED)         

 

Butler County             

 

--KY 1153 - Has reopened at mile marker 5 to 6.  (REOPENED)             

 

--KY 2713 - Has reopened at mile marker 0 to 1. (REOPENED)                

 

--KY 403 – Closed at mile marker 4 to 5.               

 

--KY 403 – Closed at mile marker 6 to 8.              

 

--KY 1187 – Has reopened at mile points 4 to 5.   (REOPENED)            

 

--KY 3182 – Has reopened at mile points 1 to 2.  (REOPENED)             

 

--KY 1435 – Closed at mile points 0 to 1.               

 

--KY 949 – Closed at mile marker 0 to 1.               

 

--KY 1117 – Closed at mile marker 7 to 8.               

 

--KY 1328 – Closed at mile marker 2 to 3.              

 

--U.S. 231 – Closed at mile points 8 to 10           

 

--U.S. 231- Has reopened at mile points 7 to 8.  (REOPENED)

BOWLING GREEN – After multiple days of dry weather, flooded waters are still receding and some roads have become open again. However, there is more rain in the forecast Thursday and Friday. It’s possible some roads could become flooded again. Motorists are advised to use caution if out driving tonight and tomorrow. The current list of flooded roads in the District 3 area is below.

--The southbound on-ramp and off-ramp at the I-165 interchange at Exit 26 in Butler County have reopened. The northbound on and off-ramp remains closed.
