Ribbon-cutting held for Hometown Trophy

The Morgantown-Butler County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting on Monday, February 27, at Hometown Trophy.  The new local business is located at 125 G.L. Smith Street in Morgantown.  The owners, Jarrod and Lindsey Evans, recently opened their shop.  They are offering trophies, plaques, and much more.

After going through the entrepreneur program with the city of Morgantown, Evans bought out a trophy shop in Ohio County and moved the shop to its current location.

"We have wanted to be small business owners for some time and the Lord was definitely in this opportunity for us," said Evans.

Morgantown Mayor Billy Phelps and Butler County Judge/Executive Tim Flener welcomed Hometown Trophy to the community and expressed appreciation for a new business.

My Mother's Daughter Cheesecakes, another local business just up the street, provided refreshments.

Hometown Trophy offers custom yard signs, uniforms/jerseys, vinyl window signage, plaques, laser engraving, banners, logo design, trophies, screen printing, stickers, and more.
