Red Ribbon Week at MES
On the morning of Friday October 25, Morgantown Elementary School held a series of parades to celebrate Red Ribbon week as well as spread awareness to the students about the negative impacts of drug use on families, individuals, and communities.
Many creative and studious designs were present in the contest with categories ranging from 3rd to 5th grade and were broken down into subcategories which included banners and sandwich boards. The third category (which encompassed all three entry grades) was the bicycles, floats, and remote cars category.
