Ramblin' on the Green River

The annual Green River Ramble took place on Saturday, June 3, on the Green River. A total of 45 participants (canoes and kayaks) made the 7-mile river journey from Woodbury to Morgantown. The event is sponsored by Morgantown Trail Town. All ages loaded up in boats, canoes, and kayaks.

Diane Dyer was the winner of the kayak given as a door prize by the Morgantown Trail Town.

"We want to extend a huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers who made the Ramble a success," said organizer Melanie Hunt. "A special shout out goes to our friends with Scout Troop 208, the Butler County Rescue Squad, and Kentucky Christian Recovery."
