Quiver Shiver a huge succes with over 30 schools participating
Over 800 archers from 30 plus schools traveled to the Butler County Extension Office to compete in the two-day State Qualifier Archery Tournament over the weekend.
Butler County Middle School kept their undefeated season going with a high score of 3303 points. The Butler County High School Archery team, led by head coach Bobby McKee, finished in second place. All four Butler County Archery Teams competed.
" We are very fortunate to have talented coaches preparing our kids," said several parents.
Over forty parents were helping with this two-day event; many of them both days. They helped with shooting lanes; at times, sixty archers were shooting. Parents helped with registration, concessions, ticket sales, and others donated food items.
