Quilters of Gasper River Association of Baptists

The Quilters of Gasper River Association of Baptists visited Hospice of Southern Kentucky on Wednesday and donated 24 beautiful quilts. Did you know there is an estimated 12 hours put into each quilt? So that's 288 hours of handmade love. The group meets at the Association building every Wednesday from 11:00-3:00 pm.

They have donated quilts to Hosparus, the Hospitality House at the Medical Center, Morgantown Mission for the homeless, and sent several quilts to the flood area in Eastern Kentucky.

The group consists of Linda Pendley, Patty Cardwell, Sharon givens, Wanda Embry, Grist Goodall, Ann Givens, Ruby Daugherty, (not pictured) Patty Tarrance, Patricia Johnson, and Josephine Barks.

Everyone is welcome to participate.
