Quality Cruise-In Honors Vincent

Saturday, September 15 was the 9th annual Quality Cruise-in. This event was dedicated in memory of the late Keith Vincent.  The feeling and spirit of camaraderie and friendship was the air as community members, family and friends gathered for a day of fast cars, food, and friends. There were over 108 registered entries, encompassing cars, trucks, tractors, and motorcycles. Procceds from the event funds the Quality Christmas Parade.


Before winners were announced, Roger Tanner thanked everyone for coming. Elaine Vincent also thanked everyone for coming and for having the car show in memory of Keith. 
“He loved having this every year,” she said.

Theresa Smith won the 50-50 pot.  She went home $56 richer.

3rd place motorcycle:  Jim Scruggs 2006 Honda VTX 1300

1st place motorcycle: Tracy Simpson, ’99 Harley Road King
3rd place tractor: Drexel Johnson 1955 International
2nd place tractor: Harold Mitchell, 1950 Ford
1st place tractor: Ryker Lawson with a Pedal IH
3rd place truck:  James Costello 1939 Dodge.
2nd place truck:  Betty Jones, 1941 Chevrolet
1st place truck: Holly Vincent, 1953 Chevrolet
3rd place car: Billy Buchanon, 1967 Chevrolet Impala
2nd place car: Kelly Givens, 1970 Chevrolet Camaro
1st place car: John Rosser, 1934 Ford Roadster. 


Rat Rod: 1st Place Russell Childress 1940 Chevrolet
People’s Choice: Ethan Vincent, 1922 Willie

After the event, several cruised to the Rochester Cemetery where Keith is buried.
