Jason Elms, Brandon Embry, and Bryan Pharris win seats on Fiscal Court

Voters in Butler County have spoken in the May Republican primary and Tim Flener, Joe Alford and Rodney McMillin have won resounding victories in their respective races.  Incumbent Judge/Executive Time Flener (2,364) defeated challenger Travis McIntosh (737) in the judge/executive's race;

Joe Alford (1,754) cruised to victory in the sheriffs race, defeating challengers Talon Gary (703), Giles Taylor (545), and Bobbie Hooten Jr. (105). 

Rodney McMillin (1,653) handily defeated several opponents in the  crowded jailer's race - Ralph Spohn (510), Danielle Hope (268), Jordon Johnson (205), Brandon K. Dockery (149), Jason Ward Bratcher (129), and Gordon W. Harper (109).

Meanwhile, Butler County Fiscal Court will definitely look different come Jan 2027. 

Jason Elms won in the 2nd District, Brandon Embry in the 4th, and Bryan Pharris in the 5th.   will be new members on FC. 

Elms, Embry and Pharris will all be new faces on Butler County Fiscal Court.  Current 2nd District Magistrate Kevin Phelps did not seek reelection.  

Jason Elms(278) defeated Jim Melton (145), Alan Cooper (123), and Jacob Skipworth (113).  

Brandon Embry (249) defeated incumbent David Whittinghill (173) and Angela Emmick (163) in the 4th District. 

Bryan Pharris (364) narrowly ousted incumbent Dillon Bryant (340) by a 24-vote margin.

1st District Magistrate Stevie Givens (232) retained his seat on the Court with a win over Janeen Taylor (129) and incumbent Curtis Allen Smith (494) defeated former magistrate Timmy Givens (268) in the 3rd District.
