 Edmonson County Wildcats 2022/ History & Scouting Report:

Week #2 of the KHSAA football season has the Butler County Bears traveling to Edmonson County High School to take on their county border rival.  The Wildcats in week #1 lost to Grayson County 33-12. The Wildcats are under first year head coach Zach Vincent and have (34) on the varsity roster grades (9-12).

The ECHS Wildcats are attempting to rebuild after going 0-10 in the 2021 season.

During the 2020 and 2021 seasons the Butler-Edmonson game was canceled due to Covid.  Therefore, the last matchup was the 2019 season. A

look back into history shows the Wildcats leading the series 13-10, dating back to 1998.

The Butler-Edmonson game is set for Friday, August 26, at Brownsville, Ky. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.  The game will be aired live on WLBQ 101.5 FM with Nick Haught and Jeff Jennings with the call.
