Poppy's Field Trip 2015-2016 School Year Winner: North Butler Elementary

North Butler Elementary principal Josh Belcher receives $2,000 check on behalf of the school from Flora Templeton Stuart as the Grand Prize Winner of the 2015-16 Poppy’s Leadership Award. Poppy the raccoon, Flora Templeton Stuart and WBKO meteorologist Matt Stephens visits a variety of schools across South Central Kentucky throughout the school year that are focused on building student leadership. They visited North Butler on March 22nd as NBES showcased several groups such as choir, band, archery, cheer, and other sports teams. Monday, May 16th on AM Kentucky WBKO revealed NBES as the Grand Prize Winner for 2015-16.

WBKO television will air footage from the check presentation ceremony that took place on May 10th during their AM Kentucky segment this coming Friday, May 20th.
