"Polar Express" at BC Public Library

Cookies, juice, and Santa, all a part of the annual “Polar Express” night held at the library on Tuesday night.  The program, organized by Children’s Librarian Tammy Suggs, is in its third year.

Every year it gets bigger.  “ This year we had over 150 people attend,”  Suggs said.  “This is my favorite program of the year.”  Each child had an opportunity to visit with Santa, and was given a candy cane afterwards.  Snacks and various treats were provided by Cash Express and the Western Kentucky Reading Council.  “Just seeing the kids’ faces is the best part of the night for me,”  Suggs said.
