Pogue Automotive Group anticipates being awarded the Buick and GMC franchises for Muhlenberg County

Greenville, KY - The Pogue Automotive Group is pleased to announce that we anticipate retaining the Buick and GMC franchises in Muhlenberg County. During the 2009 reconstruction of General Motors, General Motors terminated dealer franchises and product lines. When this took place, Pontiac was discontinued and Cadillac was moved to the Metropolitan areas leaving Mansfield’s with only the Buick and GMC franchises.

Therefore, in cooperation, with Mansfield’s and General Motors, Pogue Chevrolet has purchased the remaining Buick and GMC franchises from Mansfield Automotive Group, Inc. and will be the sales and service dealer for the Buick and GMC franchises for Muhlenberg County. On June 30, 2012, the Buick and GMC franchises will move into Pogue Chevrolet located on Everly Brothers Boulevard.

All employment opportunities will be offered to the employees of Mansfield’s current staff.
