Patty Craig: A Slice of Time

"All I Want for Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth” and “All I Want for Christmas Is You’ led me to wonder how people would actually complete that sentence. So, I asked friends and family. Their responses are listed below:

All I want for Christmas is….
•    Good health and happiness for all my family and friends.
•    A Supercross track and a 2014 Honda CRF450R.
•    All I want is to watch my little sister open her presents. It is honestly my favorite part of Christmas.
•    World peace.
•    For our family to have a happy one … and membership to the Wellness Center.
•    A pocket knife.
•    For everyone to love each other and to be happy and thankful for what they have. And, the second coming of Christ would be a blessing.
•    All I want is to spend time with family! The other stuff is just a bonus.
•    A happy family.
•    To have a non-stressful and restful few days with family and friends.
•    A shoebox full of money.
•    For everyone I love to be happy.
•    To enjoy memory-making traditions with family and a Coach purse.
•    A Republican president.
•    To see the smiling faces of my children as they experience the joys of the holiday season.
•    To be in my new house.
•    A new Coach purse and a pair of brown boots.
•    To feel happy.
•    I have everything I need.
•    To spend time with my friends and family.
•    Love. I believe that love is the one force that changes us to become who God intended us to be: love for ourselves, love for God, love for one another. If that doesn’t work, how about a tall, dark, handsome Prince Charming?
•    Memories. Memories serve as a reminder of the love we share and the faith we carry to see us through. Memories epitomize the gifts of faith, hope and love…. So, all I want for Christmas are memories: old ones, new ones and hope for those yet to come.
•    Good health and happiness.
•    My husband, children, grandchildren and Chalupa (our dog) close to me. I look forward to eating together and remembering our blessings this year.
•    I have everything I need.
•    Everything on my list.

The responses were diverse. As for me, all I want for Christmas is for my family and friends to be safe, healthy, and happy. Please share how you would complete the sentence by adding a comment below. And, this Christmas, I hope your wish comes true.
