Paradise Retirees Chapter presents $2500 to Morgantown Mission

Patricia Cobb, president of Paradise Retirees Chapter, announced that recently the Paradise Retiree Chapter applied for and received grants through BVI, which is Bicentennial Volunteers Inc, a branch of Tennessee Valley Authority in Knoxville.

On Wednesday of this past week, the Chapter presented a $2,500.00 to The Morgantown Mission and God's House of Hope in Island, KY.

During this COVID-19 pandemic, BVI saw the need to help food pantries. So many of them depend on fundraisers, and because they have not been able to have any fundraisers, these donations from BVI have been a Godsend.

The Paradise chapter has been granted two grants totaling $10,000.00, and it has been donated to 4 food pantries - The Morgantown Mission, God's House of Hope in Island, Ky, and two pantries in Muhlenberg County.
