Over 400 attends North Park Fest

Over 400 gathered on the banks of the Green River on Saturday night, September 21, for the 3rd Annual Butler County North Park Fest. Located in the Leonard Oak community of northwestern Butler County, the park continues to expand from two concrete boat ramps, a pavilion and a stage.

Free food, prepared by James Woodcock and company, music by Becky and Butler County Boys, Emma Winchel, Geneva Childress, and B J Dockery, line dancing by the Butler County Line Dancers and door prizes made for a fun filled evening.

The LEAP (Learning, Explore And Play) bus and the Bears Lunchbox Express was on hand as well as several other booths. Butler County High School DECA Club provided games and face painting. The Arts Guild also provided face painting.
