ORCA to host region tournament

Oak Ridge Christian Academy will be hosting the KCAA First Region Tournament on Friday, February 26 and Saturday, February 27. The Warriors will be coming into the tournament as #2 in the region playing against Heritage Christian from Hopkinsville. Tip off will be at 6:15 Friday night. The Lady Warriors will be a #3 in the tournament taking on Heritage Christian or Glasgow Christian (TBA) at 7:30 Friday night. The winners will advance to the Championship games on Saturday starting at 2:00. The winners will advance on to the KCAA Varsity State Tournament March 3-5 at Berea College.

The ORCA JV Warriors competed in the KCAA JV State Tournament this past weekend at Somerset Christian. The Warriors came into the tournament as a #4 seed and took on #5 Somerset Christian in the first round. They won with a final score 53-41. On Saturday, the Warriors were playing in the Final Four and faced #1 Highlands Latin from Louisville. The Warriors lost 45-42. Cade Crowder was named All-Tournament team for ORCA.
