A large crowd gather Saturday night, March 25, at the Butler County High School gym to enjoy a line-up of some of the best vocalists/musicians in the community.  Dubbed the "Butler County Opry," the event was headlined by Shera Lindsey, Kyle Whitaker, John King and the quartet of Mark Mudd, Scott Flener, Jacob Mudd, and Darren Lawrence with a tribute to the Oak Ridge Boys.  Greg Drake emceed the event.

Other scheduled performers were the Ragland Hill Bluegrass Band, the Blue Diamond Band, the Rose Band, Doug Odle, Becky Mudd, Rachel Johnson, Eli Johnson, Maddy Murphy and Lydia Jenkins, Ashlynne Brooks and Hannah McKinney, Maggie Drake, Greg Drake, Russell Givens, Anita Ausbrooks, Kenny Johnson, Debbie Worley, Clark Parker, The Beagles, Reece Filback, Isaac Pendley, Tiffany Hutcheson, Ellie Moore, and Lydia Bratcher.

Over $3,000 was raised by the event.  Proceeds benefit Butler County High School's Project Prom-2017.
