Ohio County Healthcare Mobile Access Clinic

The Ohio County Healthcare Mobile Access Clinic (MAC) will be set up at two locations in Butler County to provide walk-in visits just in time for those back to school physicals!

• Wednesday, July 19th from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm 841 Caneyville Road, Morgantown, KY

 • Thursday, July 20th from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm Roundhill Corner Market, 31 Reddyville Road, Roundhill, KY

Amy Turley, APRN will be offering for school physicals and kindergarten / 6th vaccines; walk­ in visits for acute needs, and blood pressure checks. As July is UV safety awareness month, the first 20 patients will receive a free full-size bottle of sunscreen and skin cancer awareness health education material.

 About the MAC:

The 200-square-foot unit contains two patient screening rooms, a work area for health care staff, and storage areas at the front and rear for supplies. The unit runs off generator power providing electrical access for computers and medical devices. It is also complete with a cooling system. It is intended to promote vaccine confidence thru education and administration of pediatric and adult immunizations, provide on-site health screenings and assessments, worksite wellness services, school-based health services, and a variety of other specialty specific outreach clinics. If needed, it could also be utilized for on­ site first aide at community events or provide disaster relief efforts.
