Now Accepting Sealed Bids: Butler County Animal Shelter

The Butler County Fiscal Court will be accepting proposals for the Animal Shelter to be outsourced. When proposal is accepted a contract will then be negotiated. Must follow KRS requirements.

Pick up KRS’ and requirements at Butler County Judge Executive’s Office between the hours of 8:00am-4:00pm Monday – Friday. The Butler County Fiscal Court is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Dates on proposal will be July 01, 2026 to June 30, 2027

Deadline for sealed bids is Thursday, June 4, 2026 @ 2:00 pm and will be opened at 2:00 pm, June 4, 2026.

Proposals will be reviewed at the June 8, 2026 Fiscal Court Meeting at 5:00 pm.

The county reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in a bid, or to accept the bid that in the judgment of the governing body is in the best interest of the county.
