ATTENTION PARENTS OF CHILDREN ENROLLING IN STATE FUNDED PRESCHOOL at MORGANTOWN or NORTH BUTLER ELEMENTARIES for 2014/2015

**As a Result of House Bill 235, passed recently in the legislature, minimum age requirements for enrolling in the Kentucky State Funded Preschool Program have changed.  Beginning Monday, May 5, any child wishing to enroll in the upcoming school year in preschool must be four years old by August 1, 2014. Any child that has already been registered by Friday, May 2, will not be affected.

A child must be four years old by August 1, 2014, to attend preschool as income eligible.  Students with identified developmental delays in communication, cognition, motor skills, self-help/adaptive behavior, and/or social emotional status are eligible as three and four year olds by August 1, 2014.
