Just three months ago, Northside Kennels had a grand opening celebration for the addition of their boarding kennels. Now, they have added Northside Clip & Dip Grooming to their family-owned and operated business. They offer grooming services Monday through Friday, and their groomer has over ten years of experience. According to owner Christie Tomes, grooming starts at $40 and goes up depending on the size of the dog. On Saturdays, they have a special called Soakin’ Saturdays where dogs can come in for a bath and nail clip. Soakin’ Saturdays is $25 for small dogs and $35 for large dogs.

Owner Christie Tomes said she could never thank the community enough for supporting their business. She said she already has plans to expand the boarding kennel due to the overwhelming support and need. Her parents, James and Brenda Mitchell, began Northside Kennels 18 years ago and are now getting to watch their daughter successfully continue the family business.

In addition to grooming and boarding services, Northside Kennels also breeds and sells Golden Doodles, Aussie Doodles, Beagles, and Yorkies.  They will soon have Bernedoodles and Jack Russells.
