The spirit of Christmas is never as evident as it is in the words of children. Each year Beech Tree News prints letters to Santa written by students at  North Butler Elementary. Letters to Santa reaffirm the message of the holiday season as they brim with a sense of hope and innocence. Enjoy the read!

            Are you ready for Christmas?  I can’t wait until Christmas.  I have been pretty good this year.  I have good grades.

            One thing I want for Christmas is a DSI because if I had no homework, I can play with it.

            The next thing I want is an Ipod because I can play angry birds on it.

            The last thing I would like for Christmas is a mp3 because if I want to run laps, I can listen to it.

            How is Mrs. Claus?  I loved the presents that you gave me last year.  I have been very good this year.
