New Roaming Reporter for BTN
Earlier this week, Beech Tree News welcomed Alex Hall to their team of reporters. Alex is the son of James and Lindsay Hall, owners of Solar Connection in Bowling Green, Eric Elms, Finance Officer at the Butler County Board of Education, and Brandi Elms, a bus driver for Butler County Schools. Hall is a senior at Butler County High School and is attending Western Kentucky University this fall. He plans on becoming a Registered Nurse then specializing in Anesthesiology. He is also currently in the running for Valedictorian at the high school and a recipient of the prestigious Governor’s Scholars Program scholarship.
Alex is fairly new to the reporting scene, but is very eager to begin his work. Hall, who played basketball for Butler County High School, will primarily be writing sports stories. Hall will also be keeping us up to date on what is going on inside Butler County High School.
When asked about the opportunity to work for BTN, Hall replied: “I am ecstatic for such a great opportunity. Beech Tree News has really done some special things in this community and I am just glad I have a chance to be a part of it.”
"We're happy to have Alex as part of our news team. He is a talented young man who will definitely be an asset to BtN/WLBQ," said John Embry, vice-president and co-founder of BtN.
