New Morgantown City Hall unveiled
The newly renovated Morgantown City Hall opened on Friday, December, complete with a city council meeting, ribbon cutting, and the unveiling of a clock.
Now, the building is up to code and handicap accessible.
The building has a ramp out front along with an elevator inside, giving access to the meeting room upstairs. Renovations also include a complete kitchen, a conference room downstairs, widened hallways and a very modern look.
Mayor Billy Phelps unveiled a clock that sits outside of Morgantown City Hall.
The city also sealed the time capsule, which several individuals in the community contributed items.
All city meetings will now be held at Morgantown City Hall.
