His people prayed and He answered.  New Liberty Missionary Baptist of Gilstrap is proud to announce they have a new pastor.  Bro. Gene Garner and wife Patty have already been a blessing to the church.

They have served in the ministry for 32 years.  He has pastored four churches with the support of Patty.  He served as pastor at Hillview in Bowling Green, Mt. Vernon in Morgantown, Barren River in Bowling Green, and most recently at Cherry Hill in Central City.

Bro. Gene and his wife, Patty, have been married for 42 years.  They have one daughter, Tonya (Stan) Farris of Morgantown and one son, Lance (Stephanie) Garner of Bowling Green.  They are blessed with four grandsons, Dalton and Braxton Garner and Trapper and Tanner Farris.

“We are very excited about our fifth church, New Liberty.  God has already blessed and we know there are many more blessings coming to our church.  God is good!”

We invite you to come join us and share in what God is doing at New Liberty.  The church is located at 2633 Gilstrap Road.  Sunday school is at 10 a.m. with worship service following at 11:00 a.m.  Wednesday night services are at 7 p.m.
