MORGANTOWN — Butler County has installed a new scoreboard ahead of the 2026 high school baseball season, which will open in mid-March. 

Morgantown Bank & Trust is the partner sponsor for the new scoreboard. 

Butler County High School and the BCHS Baseball Boosters Club helped the installation of the new scoreboard happen. 

The Bears will officially begin preseason practice in mid-February. 

Butler County is scheduled to visit Logan County for its 2026 season opener on Monday, March 16. The Bears are slated to host Franklin-Simpson for their home opener in the 2026 high school baseball season on Friday, March 20.
