Butler County Bassmasters finished their 30th season with their annual Classic Championship tournament at Barren River Lake on Saturday October 27th.  The winter draw down has begun on the lake and fish are scattered from deep to shallow water but feeding up for winter.  That didn’t stop the guys from bringing some nice fish to the weigh scales. Ten boats qualified for the invitation only tournament which guaranteed the winners $1000.

This year’s champions are Daniel Cardwell and Nathan Neighbors, bringing in 12.94 lbs. of smallmouth and largemouth bass. Daniel and Nathan were also crowned the season’s team points champions and set the BCB record for most wins in a single season with 6. 

Danny Cardwell and Chris Phelps finished 2nd with 11.88 lbs. and had the big bass of the tournament with a 3.83 lb largemouth.
