NBES & BCHS Art Classes Work Together to Create Monsters

Another successful art collaboration with NBES and BCHS students. Kindergarten students from Ms. Cindy Embry, Ms. Mona Daugherty, and Mrs. Michelle Fields classes made monster drawings in their art class with Mrs. Kassie Decker. Mrs. Catron Burdette's art students from BCHS re-created the drawings in the form of dolls to present to the kindergarten students at their Art Show at NBES on March 7, 2019.

The dolls were displayed alongside the framed artworks. Each year, Mrs. Decker and Mrs. Burdette try to find ways to improve the project and make it more meaningful for the students. Special thanks to administration and all involved to make this a successful event.
