North Butler Elementary Academic Team competed in Regional Governor’s Cup competition on Saturday, March 17, 2012.  Sierra Woodcock, Sarah Belcher, Colten Bratcher, and Camryn Newland competed in various events including Composition and Written Assessment on Saturday. To advance to Regional competition, these students first placed in the top 5 of their category at District Governor’s Cup competition in February.  Sierra Woodcock went on to place in all 3 of the events she competed in on Saturday.  She placed 1st in Composition, Math Written Assessment, and Arts and Humanities Written Assessment.  Overall, North Butler Elementary came in 3rd place out of the 13 competing schools.
