The 5th/6th grade team from North Butler was named the Little Bears Basketball Champions. They won the championship and finished the season undefeated in their age group. Most of this group has been playing together since they were in 4th grade.  This team has made it to the championship game of the tournament every year that they have played together, but this is the first year that they won. To celebrate the team’s success this year, Coaches Jock Bratcher and Myron Dockery took the team to a WKU basketball game.  While at the game the kids got their picture made with Coach Rick Pitino, who was at the game to watch his son coach the opposing team.
