Music Video Produced in Butler Co. Reaches #1 on CMT Page

A country music video produced entirely in Butler County saw its social media release on Thursday, October 13, and release on CMT.com on Friday. The song, titled "She Does" was performed by Rocket Tone Records' Dustin Collins. "She Does" was written by Steve Bogard, who has also written many hits in the past including "I'm Carrying Your Love With Me" by George Strait and "Every Mile A Memory" by Dierks Bentley.

Collins approached local photographer/media specialist Adam Williams in search of a more local video producer, and Jeremy Hack was the first to be considered. Following a review of Hack's work, it was widely agreed that Hack would be a crucial part of the team.

Hack and Williams have extensive ties to Butler County and wanted to do all they could to put the county's natural beauty out there for the world to see.

The artist, Dustin Collins, may not be native to Butler County, but he has ties to the area as he spent a few years living here before moving back toward his hometown outside of the Louisville area.  In the short time he lived here, he made a lot of acquaintances and spent time hunting, fishing, and finding himself as a singer/songwriter.  When Adam and Jeremy talked with Dustin about shooting the video here, he agreed wholeheartedly that it was an excellent way to help the team reach their goals and pay homage to some of the communities that have stood behind him since the beginning of his professional music career.

"I absolutely loved working in Rochester. It shows the natural beauty of our state and is a true representation of our rural heritage and communities."

Collins continued, "I've gotten to work with a lot of cool people that have helped me progress and just try to get a little better every time we start a project."

Jeremy Hack and Adam Williams are both very well known in the Butler County area and hold reputations for delivering high-quality work. Williams was very excited to produce this project in the Butler County area and explains-

"Upon being approached by Dustin to get the creative process started on the video, I had two objectives in mind.  One, team up with Jeremy, and two, I wanted to show off the beauty of Butler County." Said Adam Williams.  "I feel like we were able to achieve both of those things.  From the lush farmland to the beautiful architecture in Rochester, I really believe that anyone watching this video wishes they were standing in those same places, and seeing those things in real life."

We asked Jeremy to comment on the experience.

"The production format was similar to earlier music videos that I've worked on. I put a great deal of detail into the production treatment and was very critical that communication was the number one priority. This project had to be prepped for national television, which brought in a few minor technical hurdles that we had to overcome. Thankfully we all pulled together and got it right. Adam also got a director credit because he is fantastic with the actors and the back-end logistics. Scheduling, resources, etc. Not to mention he has a lot of good ideas when we get in a pinch." Said Hack.

Dustin Collins quickly garnered the #1 spot on the CMT popular artist page following the release of the video. He held the #1 spot for nearly 24 hours.

Collins is currently pushing his first single to radio with Rocket Tone Records this month as well as working on several different promotional avenues including television and film.
