MPD: Stabbing

At approximately 10:49 Friday night, dispatch received a third party call reporting an assault on the walking trail at the Morgantown City Park.

Officers arrived on scene, and discovered a 28 year old adult male suffering from a stab wound to the lower left abdomen. The victim was transported by ambulance to the Medical Center in Bowling Green.

At 3:04 am Saturday morning, 4 hours after the event, officers located, and arrested a juvenile offender for assault 1st degree. This case is still open, pending further investigation.

The juvenile was transported to juvenile detention in Warren County.
