On Wednesday, March 6, 2019, the Morgantown Police was assisting probation and parole officers on North Main Street. Through investigation, suspected methamphetamine was found inside the home.

Arrested and taken into custody was John Doe McDaniel, age 59, of Morgantown. McDaniel was charged with Drug Paraphernalia with the intent to Buy/Possess, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (drug unspecified). He was lodged in the Butler County Jail.
