On July 3, officers with the Morgantown City Police responded to a female who would not wake up in the parking lot of McDonald’s in Morgantown. Upon arrival, EMS was on scene and had woken the subject. The subject advised that she had consumed gabapentin, oxycodone, hydrocodone, and methamphetamine. The subject refused EMS treatment or transport, upon a probable cause search of her vehicle officers located multiple pill bottles, a small bag of suspected meth and meth pipe, a scale and multiple small baggies along with over $1,296.00 in cash.

Miranda Ann Hurt of Cave City, Kentucky, aged 45, was charged with the following:

Public intoxication ( excluding alcohol)

Possession of methamphetamine

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Trafficking in controlled substance methamphetamine
