MPD Make Drug Arrest

 Sergeant Denny Deweese, and Chief Giles Taylor of the Morgantown Police Department responded to Sunmark Apartments in regards to an individual that had an arrest warrant. When officer's arrived they came into contact with Brittany McKinney, she was wanted for a parole violation by the Kentucky Department of Corrections. During the course of the arrest and subsequent search of the residence/person, Drug paraphernalia, pills and a loaded syringe containing suspected methamphetamine was found. McKinney was arrested on the warrant, and now facing additional drug charges. She was lodged in the Butler County Jail.
On September 13th Morgantown Police received a tip about possible drug activity at the old Save-A-Lot parking lot. Upon arrival Captain Paul Burden and Officer Paul Evens came in contact with Jimmy Bandy. Through investigation officers found a glass item with residue, constant with methamphetamine use and drug paraphernalia. Jimmy Bandy was arrested and lodged in the Butler County Jail.
